Maersk Supply Service provided project management, subsea support vessel Maersk Installer, and additional project crew to support a Light Well Intervention campaign across 9 production and water injection wells.

The integrated service provided by Maersk Supply Service and a partner includes the vessel, well intervention systems, downhole services and WROV. The setup can be employed to evaluate reservoir performance, set packers to isolate zones, perform perforation to improve flow, mechanically repair downhole safety valves, and shift sliding sleeves to reconfigure flow.

Integrated solution

Maersk Supply Service and a partner worked together to provide a complete well intervention solution for subsea wells. Safety systems, firefighting and gas detection were added to the vessel to comply with ABS well intervention notation.

Cost effective

By using active heave-compensated cranes to deploy and recover the well intervention package and tools, operational flexibility was increased. Cost was optimised by utilising a subsea support vessel as opposed to a rig.

Proven results

In the end, the integrated solution employed throughout the campaign was able to restore and increase production and provide valuable reservoir data.
