DOF Group ASA (“DOF” and together with its subsidiaries the “DOF Group”) today announces that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Maersk Supply Service A/S (“MSS”) to further enhance its position as a major integrated offshore services provider.

2 July 2024 Maersk Offshore Wind will provide installation services

Maersk Supply Service to partner with Edison Chouest Offshore (ECO) for the construction and operation of a windfarm feeder concept specifically designed for Maersk Supply Service’s next-generation Wind Installation Vessel.

In August 2023, Maersk Supply Service announced that it will focus on two core business areas – Offshore Wind and Offshore Support Vessels (OSV). Today, the company introduces a leaner onshore setup moving the decision-making closer to the frontline. The objective is an effective operation with a lower cost base, improved competitiveness, and stronger commercial decisions.

With a new agreement, Maersk Supply Service, A.P. Moller - Maersk and The Ocean Cleanup have agreed to extend their collaboration to complete the validation of the system. This will help The Ocean Cleanup, an international non-profit organisation, to continue its mission of ridding the world’s oceans of plastic.

As of May 15th 2023, A.P. Møller Holding A/S has acquired Maersk Supply Service A/S from A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S, through closing of the transaction previously announced. In connection with the closing of this acquisition, A.P. Moller Holding has elected a new CEO and Board of Directors for Maersk Supply Service A/S.

Maersk Supply Service has entered a collaboration with GustoMSC to design the next generation of Wind Installation Vessel. The aim is to create an upgraded version that is fit for purpose for the growing offshore wind market in Europe.

A.P. Moller - Maersk (Maersk) has reached an agreement with A.P. Moller Holding, the parent company of the A.P. Moller Group, for an intended divestment of Maersk Supply Service (MSS), a leading provider of global offshore marine services and project solutions for the energy sector.

Petrobras has signed three of Maersk Supply Service’s L-class vessels for a period of three years. Maersk Lancer, Maersk Launcher and Maersk Leader will be performing a broad scope of anchor handling activities.

Maersk Connector, the cable lay vessel (CLV), has been engaged to continue operations on behalf of Seaway7 until December 2025, following a successful first year of working on Seaway7’s projects in both Taiwan and the United Kingdom.
