Maersk Supply Service, a part of A.P. Moller-Maersk, is launching its offshore vessel-charging venture, Stillstrom, to support the decarbonisation of the maritime industry by eliminating idle emissions. Together with Ørsted, Stillstrom will demonstrate the world’s first full-scale offshore charging station for vessels at an offshore wind farm, scheduled for installation in 2022.

Maersk Supply Service has secured a major project contract for the Libra Consortium in Brazil concerning the pre-lay of the mooring system for a newbuild FPSO in Brazil. The project is integrating engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) work and will be carried out over 2021 and 2022.

Second Maersk Supply Service vessel to support The Ocean Cleanup

Maersk Tender will be accompanied by a sister vessel in the Pacific Ocean this summer, strengthening The Ocean Cleanup’s pursuit to rid the oceans of plastic. The extra vessel, Maersk Trader, was made possible by A.P. Møller-Maersk increasing its donation to the non-profit organisation, confirming its commitment to Ocean Health.
