About the position

The Marine Electrician reports to the Chief Engineer and is generally responsible for (but not limited to) the operation, maintenance, and repair of the vessel’s electrical and electronic systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation in compliance with the Chief Engineer’s instructions, applicable regulations, and the Company’s Management System. Responsibilities include inspection and maintenance of generators, electric motors, control panels, and communication systems, among others. Additionally, they support the engineering team in identifying and resolving electrical faults, contributing to safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with technical and environmental standards.

O/A Eletricista Marítimo se reporta ao(a) Chefe de Máquinas e tem a responsabilidade de forma geral (não se limitando a) operação, manutenção e reparo dos sistemas elétricos e eletrônicos da embarcação, garantindo seu funcionamento seguro e eficiente em conformidade com as instruções do(a) Chefe de Máquinas, regulamentações aplicáveis e o Sistema de Gerenciamento da Empresa. Suas responsabilidades incluem a inspeção e manutenção de geradores, motores elétricos, painéis de controle e sistemas de comunicação, entre outras. Além disso, apoia a equipe de máquinas na identificação e resolução de falhas elétricas, contribuindo para a segurança, eficiência operacional e conformidade com normas técnicas e ambientais.

Requirements

  • Experience in the role aboard Dynamic Positioning vessels.
  • Availability for offshore assignments.
  • Commitment to safety and quality in the work environment.
  • Valid STCW certificates.
  • Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Requisitos

  • Experiência na função a bordo de embarcações de Posicionamento Dinâmico.
  • Disponibilidade para embarques em regime offshore.
  • Compromisso com segurança e qualidade no ambiente de trabalho.
  • Certificados STCW válidos.
  • Habilidade com Word e Excel.

Differentials

  • Experience in Anchor Handling operations.
  • Intermediate English.

Diferenciais

  • Experiência em operações de Manuseio de Âncora.
  • Inglês Intermediário.

Mandatory Certification

  • Certificate of Competence issued by the Brazilian Maritime Authority – STCW III/7.
  • Basic and Advanced Safety Courses issued by the Brazilian Maritime Authority.
  • Special Basic Course in Ship Security Awareness.
  • DP Maintenance Course.
  • NR 10 – Safety in Electrical Installations and Services.
  • Seamen´s Book.
