How long have you worked at Maersk Supply Service and what was your starting position?

I’ve been sharing my days with Maersk Supply since 2005 when I started as a Financial Analyst. Then I spent 7 years as treasurer, from 2006 to 2013. After that, I had the pleasure to be conducted to the financial manager position until 2016 when I was dismissed during the restructuring. It was not a surprise and it was comprehensive facing the situation at the time. I had spent so many years working in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and I was excited about new things. It was the perfect time to transform my dreams of living in another country into reality. So, at end of 2016, my family and I moved to Portugal. There we had some very nice experiences with our Portuguese brothers. Living near to the Matosinhos beach, I established a Brazilian way restaurant and it was a wonderful experience until we have brought by the Covid pandemic. In this calamity situation, the better we could do was to return to our country to stay close to our family. And I come back, very proud of my acquaintances and adventure, but it was time to be back. For some reason, the stars like me, and I had the chance to come back to Maersk Supply Service at end of 2020, as a Financial Analyst, and share my days with you all, again. Some of the colleagues are old affairs, and I’m truly happy to have them in my days, and the new colleagues were a very nice surprise. Maersk has a special talent to hire wonderful and very talented people and I’m a very proud worker from Maersk.
