What is the most interesting part of your job?
The most interesting aspect of my job is probably the mix of building relations with our clients and understanding their needs, all while gaining an understanding of our regional markets. I find this combination very interesting, as it makes the job more far-sighted, where the final execution of selling is a clear product of how we have managed to navigate these markets.
Moreover, our new strategy, which was rolled out in October 2016, definitely also brings new interesting aspects to the role I am in, and I really look forward to executing within this. It will be very interesting finding areas where we can support our clients with a wider range of services and develop an even stronger position.
If you could give a new employee in Maersk Supply Service a word of advice, what would it be?
Working in Maersk Supply Service is like being part of a small company in a very big business setting. By this, I mean our company size in the Maersk Group and Energy Division is relatively small, which makes us agile and breeds a culture of familiarity. I would therefore encourage new employees to take advantage of all the knowledge that colleagues have, to understand the business, and use the flexibility of the company to do your job the best way possible.
