To become the world's most reliable supplier of advanced offshore marine services requires exceptional skills from everyone involved. That’s why, for the last 30 years, Maersk Supply Service has focused heavily on training. To our knowledge, no other offshore shipping company makes as big an investment in developing their crew members as we do.

The crown jewel of Maersk Supply Service’s training programme is its simulator, which is the world's most advanced. It is one of four simulators at Maersk Offshore Simulation and Innovation Centre (MOSAIC) at Maersk Training's facility in Svendborg, Denmark. Maersk Supply Service co-owns the simulator, which is run by 100 computers, has a 360° bridge view and allows both new and more experienced officers to practice any operation under any conceivable condition. These virtual experiences greatly increase the officers’ operational efficiency readying them to tackle anything, and helps reduce the risks inherent in challenging assignments or unexpected situations.

We use real world experiences and feedback from our crews and customers to continuously heighten the quality and value of the simulator.

Maersk Supply Service's crewing department uses all of Maersk Training's eight global training centres to continuously develop the skills of our sea staff.
